Method 1: Get wrinkles out of jeans fast with a clothes steamer
A clothes steamer is a fastest and easiest ways to remove creases from your jeans. In fact, steaming your jeans will also prolong their life and reduce shrinking as you won’t need to wash them as often. Steaming also refresh your indigo jeans without color fading.
- A clothes steamer
- Distilled water
- A hanger
Step 1: Hang your jeans fabric on a hanger. If It’s pant, then hang upside down from the cuff of the pant.
Step 2: Pour some water into the steamer tank. Avoid tap water as it contains mineral that causes lime scale buildup inside the tank. After that, plug in the steamer and turn it on.
Step 3: Within a few minutes, you’ll notice that the steamer is releasing steam through the nozzle. That means your device is ready for steaming.
Step 4: Next, select the high heat setting of the steamer because you’re dealing with a thick fabric that can hold wrinkles so well.
Step 5: Now hold the stem nozzle close to the jeans fabric. Remember, it’s important to touch the nozzle/head to the fabric. The rule of thumb with fabrics- the heavier the fabric the more contact you want to give it.
Step 6: Apply the steam on your jeans fabric section by section. I recommend to apply steam from the top to the bottom by moving the steam nozzle slowly. Remember, to give the pant a good amount of tension when you steam it. This will help the fabric to release creases.
Step 7: After steaming, make sure to hang the fabric for a while before putting it inside the closet.
Method 2: Unwrinkle Your Jeans Without An iron (Shower Steam method)
This is another cool but effective hacks to remove wrinkles from your denim. If you don’t have a clothes steamer, or iron then this method can be a great relief.
It’s very simple. All you’ve to do is to hang your jeans in the bathroom and then turn on the hot shower. The steam will help to release most of the wrinkles from the jeans. Don’t open the bathroom door during the process. Also, make sure to select the maximum heat setting of your shower.
Method 3: Remove Creases From Your Denim With A Dryer
Your dryer can help you to get rid of those stubborn wrinkles from your denim. But, before using your dryer, make sure that, it has tumble dry setting.
Here’s the process:
- Put your denim clothes inside the dryer.
- Next, put a few ice cubes with them.
- Close the door and select tumble dry setting and press the start button.
- Let the dryer run for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, remove the fabric promptly. And you’ll notice all the wrinkles are gone.
Method 4: Eliminate wrinkles from pants with a hairdryer
If there’re any hairdryer available in your home you can use it to eliminate clothes wrinkle.
First, you’ll need to slightly damp your denim with water. Use a sprayer for even distribution of water. Next, take your hairdryer and select the highest setting. Let the hot air blow towards the jeans fabric. The heat and moisture will help the fabrics fiber to relax and eventually it’ll release wrinkles.
Don’t forget to air dry your jeans after applying the hot air on it.
Method 5: Get Wrinkles out of jeans without heat (Using wrinkles releaser spray)
A wrinkles releaser spray also works really well to get wrinkles out of jeans in less effort and time. You can get them online. I personally use this wrinkles release spray in my clothes and it does a great job. Just follow the instructions that come with the spray.
However, you can also make your own DIY wrinkles release solution at home. Here’s the process:
1. Mix 1 tbsp of fabric softners with 1 cup of distilled water in a jar or spray bottle.
2. Shake the bottle properly to mix the solution and it’s ready to apply on your clothes.
3. Simply hang the jeans and spray the wrinkle releasing solution onto the fabric. Gently smooth out the fabric with your hands.
